The Mombasa Mission
We support the Mombasa Mission in various ways.
Last year we were enabled to purchase a mini bus for the mission and all maintenance and associated expenses continue to be our responsibility. The Sunday School program is very popular among the children of the surrounding villages and it is a joy to be able to support this important part of the mission.
Since medical care is sparse and most often unattainable for many of the locals, the mission also provides care for simple ailments. If a hospital is required, the patient will be brought to the hospital by the mission vehicle, and assisted in paying for the medical attention there.
Swahili is the local language in Kenya and it is a work in progress translating various books for the people there.
